"why don't he write?"

Maybe you've been askin' yourself, "why don't he write?"

Elgin Lane

Well, it turns out that over these past few weeks I've been having a run-in with my normally excellent health. Nothing serious, by comparison, but it did demand all my attention. I'm mostly over the worst of the symptoms but I expect to be treating the root cause of the syndrome for at least the next 30 days.

As uncomfortable as the whole episode has been, I chose to see it as an opportunity to make a few lifestyle changes.

The first, and to my mind, most notable change was my diet. In the past month I've gone from a coffee drinking carnivore (with a side of fries) to a complete vegetarian and fifty percent of that is a raw food diet. Strangely enough, a week or so into that, I lost my taste for coffee and all these three weeks later, haven't even missed it.

Another change was my choice to not seek treatment from conventional western medicine and instead, explore the possibilities of acupuncture. I discovered Michel Gehin over at White Street Healing Arts. Within four days of our first session my symptoms began clearing and, over the last few weeks, Michel's follow-up care has been fantastic.

Finally, I'm back to my meditation practice and with the help of God and Guru, sooner than not, all will again be well with the world.
